Compressed Folder is not an option

In Windows Explorer when I click File> New> there is not an option for
compressed folder. Is there a way I can add this feature to the list. I am
using Windows XP Professional that I upgraded from ME.

Your hard drive would have to be converted from FAT32 to NTFS
in order to have the compressed folder option.

The ideal cluster size for NTFS is 4 KB. If you are not
careful, you may end up with a 512 byte cluster size
and your system will run slow. Read the following:

Hi Steven,

Type in Start, Run:

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

and then type:

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll
