completely reinstalled windows... IE hangs now.

I completely formatted my computer, reinstalled
everything, complete wipe. When it finally finishes,
what do I see? Every time I click a link that opens a
new window, Bam, I have to wait about 20 seconds until it
pops up. I tried spysweeper, and all the rest, nothing.
This happened the first time I tried to click a link!
what the hell?

Hi,
Internet Options | Connections [tab] | LAN Settings [button]
Are any of the options selected there?

You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK

always hated the autocomplete, and have it turned off already... thanks though
