I need to find out the e-mail addresses of senders. In Express (which I just
switched from) I just right clicked on the name, selected Properties and got
the address.

In Outlook I understand that I can view the entire header by using: View,
Options. The bottom of the Mesage Options box is supposed to show the header
info. including the senders address of course.

When I do this the box is grey and empty in all cases. Am I doing something
wrong? I'm fully opening the messages.

You're not doing anything wrong - that's exactly where the Internet Headers
should be. Why they are not is beyond my knowledge I'm afraid. Hopefully
someone will be along to help!

I thought that was what it was supposed to do. Could it have been something
unrelated that I selected in the setup that caused this?

Ups..... Sorry, I read the posting wrong because we recently had in
the german outlook newsgroup the question of a poster, why he cannot
see the header of a sent mail. So I thougt, without considering and
reading the posting well, the OP has the same problem.

I think I have to improve my knowledge of the english language ;-)

Your English is fine - much better than my German!
