Do you already have it installed on a PC? If so, download and run the
Vista Readiness Tool and it'll tell you.

Works 7 isn't compatible. Not sure about 2004.

the works suite 2004 is from a prior dell. have all original disks, license
& packaging.

the new dell vista machine has microsoft works 8, but not word. my plan is
to install word from the 2004 works suite. the word version is 2002.

not sure what vista readiness tool is.
