Compact Not working

So not that we can not manually compact our databases and have to wait for
it to decide it wants to do it after X amount of closes. Everytime mine
tries to compact it runs for a couple of minutes and then pops up a dialog
box that says Windows mail has Stopped working. and it restarts mail, exit,
repeat........... so it won't compact.

I have a HUGE amount of mail (about 200 folders and probably close to half a
million messages), plus all the newsgroups I subscribe to.

Here is the event log entry (and why the hell does UAC prompt me when I am
running Event viewer, its not like event viewer is going to make changes to
the system. ARGH!!!!!!)
