Compact Flash Card Reader

When I insert a compact flash card from my digital camera into the card
reader, the auto start handler no longer starts allowing me to select a
program to download the pictures. I can still access the pictures from My
Computer or Windows Explorer so the card reader is working. The auto start
handler still works for other types of media such as audio CD or blank CD.
HP m280n multimedia computer; Windows XP Pro; 6 in 1 card reader (came with
computer).

In My Computer, right click on the card reader and select Properties and
then the Auto Play tab. Have you selected the prompt option?

Doesn't matter if I choose "Select an action to perform" or "Prompt me each
time to choose an action". It still doesn't work.

See the extensive autorun info at both Kelly's site, and Doug's (XP-FIXES)
