A client of mine was having problems with their computer.
Long story short he gave me his XP home CD and his box. I
had problems while setting up XP but all were worked out.
My current problem is while trying to install SP1, the
computer reboots. It has happened several times, the SP1
installer begins to download the files needed (37 mb or
something), gets a few mb done then reboots the comp. It
is an older model, P3 500, 256MB ram, VIA chipset (really
old AT keyboard port) 16mb voodoo, 12X LG burner and a
48X cdrom, some crazy electronic eject IDE floppy
drive... Either way, it had no problems aside from
network and speed before I formatted, now I cant get SP1
which is really bugging me. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
