Combining Vista Business with Vista Home Premium

I have a computer with Vista Business installed
i also purchased a copy of Vista Home Premium
my question is - can i install from the home premium ed. the windows media
center
on my vista business

I doubt it very much. I don't believe that the Media Components can be
installed separately, and attempting to do so would be a violation of
the EULA, if I read it correctly.

but i have a legal copy of them both i don't think there is a legal problem
i just wanna know if it is possible or not...

That's good, but irrelevant.

The EULA clearly states:

SCOPE OF LICENSE. The software is licensed, not sold. This agreement
only gives you some rights to use the software. Microsoft reserves all
other rights. Unless applicable law gives you more rights despite this
limitation, you may use the software only as expressly permitted in this
agreement. In doing so, you must comply with any technical limitations
in the software that only allow you to use it in certain ways. For more
information, see http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/userights. You may
*not*
· work around any technical limitations in the software;
· reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except and
only to the extent that applicable law expressly permits, despite this
limitation;
· use components of the software to run applications not running on the
software;

(There are a few more restrictions, but those three pretty much
preclude what you want to do.)
