combining clips

OK, so now I have several clips that I wish to combine. The clips are not saved as VIDEOS but as PROJECTS. I don't want to save them as videos and then combine them because then you can no longer edit each clip . I want to combine all the saved movie projects into one string and do a final edit before saving them all as the final movie.

Can someone tell me how to do this? I find it impossible to import more than one of the saved projects into the contents pane at a time - I simply can't get two of them into the same contents pane. Please give step-by-step instructions

Whoever wrote the "help" columns for this program has missed out huge amounts of information that the novice - such as myself -really needs. Please improve!

Hi,

Info about doing things like that is good for people like myself who write
and sell books. Reading a book is a good fill-in while you're waiting for a
movie to render, especially if it's a large project like yours might be
after combining a number of them.

To combine projects A, B and C on the timeline in that order:

- Open project B and in the timeline view select all the clips on all the
tracks, using standard Windows commands - Control-A. Copy them all to the
clipboard using Contol-C.

- Open project A and in the timeline view, click on the last clip. Paste
project A into the timeline using Control-V.

- Do the same for project C.

After inserting each project, check to be sure the pasting process didn't
push the last clip out rather than going into the timeline behind it.

So it's the same as copying a few text files into a single one.
