Combining appointments in 2 calendars

Is it possible to automatically combine appointments from personal calendars
into one shared calendar in real time, without the users having to do
anything?

Do we need to use 3rd party software?

We are using Outlook 2003.

Yes and yes, although it's conceivable you could write your own code to do
