Combine is greyed out

I have tried several scenarios to make available the "combine" option on the
"clip" pull down menu.

I've tried importing 2 different music clips (.wma) into the collections
pane and "combine" is greyed out even when I select both clips.

I've put them both on the time line, selected them both, and "combine" is
still greyed out.

I've tried several different music clips (but all are .wma) and "combine" is
always greyed out.

Help?!?!?!?!

=============================
The Combine option is for joining clips
that have been split in Movie Maker.

If you are trying to join two audio files...
all you have to do is drag them to the
time line and save the file.

Go to...File / Save Movie File / Next / Next / Next...

This will result in a .wma audio file. Be sure
to drag the clips all the way to the left on the
timeline or you will have dead air at the
beginning.
