Combination chart - Line disappears when I add a secondary axis

I create the chart first (bar and line), adding a secondary axis later - when
I do this the line in the chart disappears?

Try changing the scale of the y-axis. It is not showing up because the two
series may have very different value ranges. Either adjust the scale so both
can be displayed, or change one of the series to the secondary axis (the one
that shows up).
