I keep getting COM+ errors reported in Events.
"The Component Object Model (COM) infrastructure tried to start the named
server; however, the server did not reply within the required timeout
period.
If the problem continues to occur, contact the program vendor."
They don't seem to cause any problems, but I'd like to stop receiving them.
Is there any good reason not to just "disable" COM+Event Notification and
System Event Notification services?
This is a "standalone" computer (though I do, obviously, connect to the
Internet via cable).
