code which operates on <+> or <-> that moves cursor

Hi all,

What I would like to be able to do is as follows:

I enter a value in A1, which will be either a positive or negative
whole number (say 100). On entering + or -, the value in A1 is recorded
as 100 or -100 and the cursor moves to cell A2.

Does anyone know if I can do this with code? Effectively what I want to
do is cut out the need for the <enter> keystroke.

not really possible as macros can't run while you're in Edit mode
