Previously had the Code 39 Error and went through the fix it through the
Registry Editor which fixed the problem as far as being able to read Discs,
but I still cannot burn CD's the PC comes up with a message that the D: drive
is inaccessible.

Can any one help please????????????

You could try and right click on the CD drive in My Computer, select
properties, select the recording tab and make sure there is a tick next to '
Enable CD Recording on this Drive '.

Thanks Andy - there unfortunately is not a recording tab within the
properties....can you advise any further?

Hi Andy

Now have the recording tab after changing the reget entries, and it seems to
recognise the drive as a recordable one now BUT when I try to burn to CD the
message keeps prompting me to put a recordable cd in the drive, when there is
one already in there....any other ideas. I feel like I am getting closer to
the answer. Thanks very much for your help so far.

I can actually burn a Music CD through RealPlayer but cannot burn a CD with
just word doc or pictures. Very strange.

THANKS VERY MUCH ANDY!

Everything working as it should now....could never have managed that without
your help.

Thanks again.

Thats ok, glad I could help.
