Under device Manager, the status of my CD Drive is as follows:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Earlier today I used my drive to burn programs onto a disc. It was then I
decided to clean out my hardrives by going through and deleting programs I
didn't need or use anymore. When I finished, I tried to load something on my
computer but my computer wasn't recognizing my CD drive. So I tried the
uninstall and the reboot. My computer recognizes my CD drive, but won't load
it. This is a brand new computer and I don't think my driver is corrupted,
so why is my computer saying its missing and how do I get my CD drive back!?
Thanks for the help,
Andrew.
