Hello, I was recently upgrading my computer from directx 8
to 9. However my computer crashed halfwway through the
installation and now my computer wont recognize my sound
card, modem, or cd drive. When I check the hardware
profile on each of these products it says I have a code 39
error and that the driver files may be corrupted or
missing. I have drivers for the sound card and modem on CD
but i cannot use these as the CD is not working. I've
tried searching the net looking for ways to get the CD
working again but to no avail. If it helps at all my CD
ROM is E-IDE CD-ROM 52X/AKH (Manufactured by AOPEN,
model : CD952E). Any help on this matter would be greatly
appreciated.
