What a philistine your landlord must be to destroy that lovely, natural area. Seems to be the norm with a lot of folk these days. See a tree and they promptly get the vapours.
A Tree Creeper isn't as colourful and although it to has a streak across the eye, it's whitish. TCs have a longer down-curved beak, so they can get it into the bark of trees prying for bugs.
So my little chap is not a treecreeper then So what is it ??
I looked at my pics and your pics back and forth and can not tell if they are the same type of bird
Ha d a quick peruse of your pics and I particularly liked one of a lake with clouds reflected in the water and another with rocks on the left with water on the right. Some really neat shots. Wish my camera was just a tad better or had a bigger pixel count.
that pic is a tree creeper ... missed it before, they good at hiding on tree trunks
