closing windows

I am having a problem closing some of my pop up windows.
I try clicking the x and it just beeps at me, so does
doing file, close.
 
It's probably in the source code of the pop up itself, and not a Windows XP
problem. Before I installed a pop up stopper, once in a while I ran into
that problem.
