Closing Windows

Does anyone have any idea of how some windows (in 2000 Pro)
will close after a couple of seconds. I suspect it is a
registry item, but the registry editors won't stay open
long enough to find the problem. This only affects some
windows, and not all -- like this one or windows explorer.

If the registry editor won't stay open either I suspect your PC is infected.
