Closing Cell

I did some work typing in the cell forms Now I want to go back to typing a
straight letter . My letter looks l i k e t
h i s how do I get back to typing a straight line. I have check
out paragraphs fonts tabs etc can't get my space bar back to normal please
help

It looks like you set the text to Justified. Set it to
Left, Center or Right justified, whichever you want.
It's the icons in the meny that look like several
horizontal lines; hover the mouse over them to see
which is which.
