Greetings, Your help is needed.
My windows XP Pro system gives me a fairly consistant failure of the program
(or service)" Implements the NT service that starts the server"
99% of the time this service wont run and generates a box that asks me to
send in an error report. The immediate problem with it not running is that I
can not use my printer/scanner ever.
How can I correct this ? thanks in advance.

Hi, I was having the exact problem and have reformatted my computer 3 times because of it. I finally figured out what it was tonight. I was using Charter High Speed Security by F-Secure and I deleted it. The problem then went away and I could use my printer again. I called Charter and they told me there are some compatibility issues with F-Secure software. Even if you are not running F-secure protection I assume the problem is with compatability. If there is a program you have recently put on then try to uninstall it and see if that solves your problem. I hope this helps you. I was close to giving up!
