Close CD-ROM automatically

I can eject my CD-ROM automatically, with some scripts, but how do I "Close"
the CD-ROM once it's been open? I am curious as if I am remotely working on
a CD and it "opens", how do I "close" it so I can work on the CD, that's just
"hanging" open.

Thank you.

Download NirCmd. It is a command line program , you can just type:
nircmd cdrom close y:
to close the drive Y

There are more shortcuts that you cant run from CMD(I think over 100 shortcuts) :
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html
It is free

wizmo.exe at grc.com has that and lots more useful features. I use it &
