Cloning by Win2K Backup/Restore?

I need to replace my Win2K-loaded HDD by a larger capacity HDD. If I
backup the entire C: drive using the Win2K Backup utility which will
produce (I believe) a single large file in the same partition and then
attempt to "Restore" it into a added large drive (formatted and
partitioned), will it work like a cloning software? Will I miss something?

No it wont, Yes you will miss lots
Most drive manufacturers have a free utility
Acronis TI have a fully functioning trial
