Clock running in reverse!

I am using Windows XP Professional.

I have a problem with my clock.

I don't know whether it is with the software or the hardware.

My clock goes in reverse everytime turn on my computer!

For instance, if I turn off my computer at 11:00 AM, the time will go back
to somewhere

around 10:40 AM the next time I turn it on!

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Open your BIOS and set the correct time.

Access/Enter Motherboard BIOS

How old is your system? If it is more than 3.5 years then it is time to
change the small coin-cell/battery that is used to backup the bios
settings.

The age of the computer is irrelevant. Batteries can be bad even in
brand-new computers.

Yes, almost certainly his problem is that the battery needs to be replaced.

I was going to suggest reversing the polarity of the outlet. ;-)
