Clock accuracy

My clock gets behind about 10-15 minutes every few days and I can't figure
out why. I've tried the synchronization with both the government and windows
servers. I thought that may have been the problem so I turned off the
synchronization. I recently reformatted and it still does it. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

Possibly a duff clock chip on the m/bd or system battery needs
replacing. Other possibility is incorrect power supply (wrong
frequency).

I have read in these newsgroups that some of the screensavers in popular
use can grossly affect the clock accuracy of a PC, i guess due to poor
design.
try running without a screensaver activated
