Clips freezes

I have been working on creating a movie / video with movie maker and have had
so many problems.

The first one was I learned that I had to change my photo type from JPEG to
BMP (all 300 photos) and also change my music file from wma to wav (all 13 of
them). This took 2 days.

Now I saved the movie file and it STOPS AFTER THE 2nd clip!
HELPPPPPPPPPPP! I have to complete this by Thursday!!!

If you haven't been to the Problem Solving > Can't Save a Movie page of my
website... two quick points:

- can you successfully render a really small project with each of the source
file types included... to both WMV and DV-AVI formats?... maybe a one minute
long timeline

- if you can successfully do that, than watch your memory as the full
project renders...

To expand a bit more on where I think Papajohn is going on this one.
If your project has 300 pictures I presume it has many transitions as well
and all this going to 13 songs is a very complex project. It could very well
be that the complexity of the project is not working well with the resources
you have. Sometimes if a project is too complex you can't create the movie
or if you can it takes forever. A good workaround for this is to split the
project into manageable pieces and render each part of the full project
separately. Once that is completed you can import each completed part and
put them together for the final movie. The complexity will no longer be an
issue since you have already turned all those transitions and images into
video. Now your project is only 4 or 5 (at the most) videos with a couple
transitions thrown in and you should HOPEFULLY be able to complete your
video.

I agree Wojo... the thing I wonder about is why it would stop after just a
couple clips... would the memory demands ramp up that quickly is there
wasn't an issue with a source file??

Yes I thought about that right after I sent my message.
It would make more sense if it were half way through or something like that.
So I am wondering if "just a couple clips" may have been an understatement
considering that the project has over 300.
