Clipboook Viewer and Networking

I'm having trouble using most of the clipbook viewer options. I cannot
have multiple clips, I cannot share, I cannot connect, etc.. Most of the
options are greyed out. I'm simultaneously using two computers in the same
office and it would be incrediby helpful if I could cut/copy on one
computer, and paste on another.

Currently I'm accessing the clipbook via command line - clipbrd.exe
Clipsrv is set on manual
NetDDE is also Manual

Would the office clipboard cause any kind of problems?

Thanks in advance for all the help

Me too. Specifically, I'm using Windows XP Home edition.
There is no clipbook window, only the clipboard window,
and the option to connect (among many others) is greyed
out. Is the clipbook a feature only of the Professional
edition?

Progress, but still a problem. I don't know why. I didn't, AFAIK,
change anything, except maybe install some software, but I can't tell
what, if any.

This morning I started clipbook viewer, a message flashed saying
something like "starting DDE related services," the clipboard window
came up, the status line said "Establishing connection," and a second
or two later the local clipbook window came up. That's progress: last
month I didn't have a local clipbook window.

But I can't paste to the local clipbook. I copy text from an
application, select the local clipbook window, uncheck (or check)
"share item now", select Edit | Paste from the menu, enter a name for
the clipbook page, and I get an error message saying "access is
denied." Yes, I have Adminstrator privileges.

Some menu items are still grayed out: Share and Stop Sharing in the
File menu, and all items in the Security menu.

But the Connect and Disconnect items in the File menu work now. I can
transfer information from another system into Windows XP. But because
I can't paste into the local clipbook, I can't get information out of
Windows XP into another system.

Anybody know what's wrong? any guesses?
