Clip Board pop up, how do I get rid of option

thought it would be in that area, but do not see it;
had tried un-checking: Smart Cut-Paste
am using: Word 2000 if matters

do not see that option, any other ideas? thanks
 
It's right next to "Smart cut and paste" in Word 2003. I don't think Word
2000 has a Paste Options button, so you must be seeing something else.
 
Hi Nastech,

In Word 2000 using Ctrl+C,C brings up the Office clipboard. You can drag the clipboard to dock it into the other toolbars at the
top of the screen (or into the side of the screen) to keep it from popping up.
