Clients do not receive attachments,was OK before new hard drive

Clients with internet address do not receive attachments, pictures or website
links when I send them an email. Everything was fine until my hard drive was
replaced. Now I guess an option isn't checked correctly in outlook. Any
suggestions?

More likely recent MS updates have set their security not to accept
certain file types.

Most of my network people are finish for the year. This is why I'm asking
