Clicking sound when opening new website.

Just in the last couple of days I have become aware of a clicking sound each
time I open a website. I was afraid of spyware but have run adaware, error
nuker & pc doctor with nothing unusual present. I am a newbie and have alot
to learn but I have gone to tools, internet options and find nothing which
will allow me to turn off any sound effects. Please help an old man who is
just learning.

If using Internet Explorer:
Control Panel > Sounds > Sounds tab > scroll down to Windows Explorer >
Start Navigation > select "None".
