Clicking noise

Every time I select a folder when in explorer a clicking noise occurs when I
select the folder with my mouse. How do I get that noise turned off. I know
there is a quick key but I can't find it

I don't know about a quick key, but if you into your control panel and then
click on Sounds and audio, you can remove the sound from under there.
