I have a live view camera page that updates itself on the browser (6.0
sp2), and every time it does so there is a click - some kind of system
beep that's very short but exceedingly annoying. How can I turn it
off? I need to keep the sound on for other purposes and to listen to
the microphone of the camera, so don't say turn off the speakers!

Thanks!

Ps I just realized its the same beep that is called on clicking a
link. Its just never been so annoying until it starts doing it by
itself!

Look in Sounds, for Windows Explorer, "Start Navigation" and "Complete
Navigation" and set them to None
