Clearing Resetting Jumper on Mother board

I am trying to repair a Dell Demensions 8200. It was hit by lightening
and was dead in the water. I got it working by removing the video card
and pulling the battery and resetting the bios jumper, then
reconnecting the video. I replaced the HD with one I knew was good. It
worked for a day with XP installed and then went dead again . I have
removed the jumpers on the mother board so many times, I forgot which
way they go.

The mother board (Dell A00) has too three pin jumpers. One is labeled
"bios" with CLR in one position and O in the other. The bios jumper
only lets the computer turn on in the CLR position. This does not make
any sense to me. The other jumper just says "J8H3" and changing the pin
settings does not seem to have any effect.

Does anyone knowt this board and the jumper settings? I'm going nuts.
thanks,
Pa
