Clearing History

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to clean my history
cache. I have gone to tools/options/History and clicked
the button to clean and slected yes. But when i check my
history the information is still there. Any ideas????

Jay,
With no IE windows open, try it from Control Panel> Internet Options>
General> Clear History.

You might need to delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be
created on restart.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

Another program might be locking your history.
