Hi,

How do I clear the saved Network passwords list? I'm not talking about the
autocomplete passwords, but the one where the dialog pops up with the option
to "save this password in your password list". Is it possible to edit/clear
the list?

Thanks

Hi :-)

Try the follwoing and see if it helps:
Tools> Internet Options>Content>Autocomplete.
Click "Clear Passwords" to clear passwords.
Click OK to the confirmation.
OK out
The actual information is stored in a protected portion of the registry
under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Protected Storage System
Provider\[SID of the user]\Data. However, a user can't view the information
(although as an administrator, you can change the ACL via regedt32.exe to
have a look).

or...

User Security - Network Passwords

Protected Storage PassView

lets you delete selected username/password combos.

Hope this helps :-)

Hi,
Windows XP? Try Ctrl Panel> User Accounts> [username]> Manage my network
passwords.

Hope this helps,
