Cleaning up the "autocomplete" entries

Over time, I have built up a lot of autocomplete entries that no longer
apply, or were even entered in error.

Is there a way to selectively remove the ones I don't want?

I am reluctant to hit the "internet options/autocomplete/clear forms or
clear passwords" buttons since I assume (maybe I'm wrong?) would erase all
my entries.

Thanks

Alan

Right click delete does not clear auto-complete entries. You have to clear
them from within IE options, in the auto-complete section.

There is no way to pick and choose which to remove(maybe a registry edit can
do it, but I don't know of one). I think it's all or none.

That did it!

Thanks for the tip

My reply from yesterday doesn't seem to have made it - so - thanks again !
Your advice did the trick for me.
