Cleaning out Hard drive

Hi,
I am looking to clean out all files and registry entries that are
non-essential to the operation of my computer. Is there a way to do this
without un-installing programs. I am looking to have a clean slate on my
hard drive, as it seems to be clogged up.
If you have any input, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have XP.

Thanks,
Bruce

You are far more likely to cause problems this way than to solve
any. Leave it alone.

What do you mean by "clogging up"? Please describe your symptoms.

Also do you regularly run several anti-spyware programs? Which
ones?
