You erase the memory (RAM) every time you shut down your computer.
I take it you are trying to tidy up your hard drive (storage).
What do you class as essentials?
You can do a "Disk Cleanup" which you will finf in "System Tools" under
"Accessories" to clean up your temporary internet files, temp directory,
recycle bin etc.
Every time you turn off your computer, all the memory (RAM) is erased.
Do you mean that you want to erase the contents of the hard drive? That's
not called "memory," but "disk space" or "storage."
But even with the substitution of the correct term, your question is
confusing. Can you be more explicit? What do you mean by "cleaning my
computer"? What makes you think it's dirty? Exactly what do you want to
accomplish? Why?
