Thanks for all for the replies. Obviously, I need to hone
my batch writing skill a bit..... ;-)

I think the batch side of the things was very well covered,
but no one mentioned any other additional deletable location
where W2K could store temp files. Maybe there aren't any
more. (BTW, that's why it was xposted to W2K)

To clarify a few things, I boot to DOS (Win98's) and
run it from there because some of the files in those temp
directories may be in use.

There will always be some temp files in use, although usually not after a
reboot unless it's a hard coded file name. Sorry, I don't know where else
temp files would be stored on W2K. Pretty much, you have to determine that
from the programs you have installed.
