Clean XP install--files currupt & unreadable on 2nd hard drive

I did a clean install of Win XP Pro. I previously had Win2K Pro
installed. I moved many very important folders and files to my 2nd
hard drive before the install. That drive has 2 partitions (now drive
d and e). Drive e had my .mp3 files on it. I had placed these there
a couple months ago when I got the 2nd drive (while using Win2K).
When I click on this drive I get this error message: "The file or
directory is currupt and unreadable." How can I fix this.

Also: on the second partition (drive d), I am able to access most of
the folders/files there. There is one folder that has family pictures
(.jpg's) in it. I cannot open the picture files. The folder and
files are colored green. What can I do to access these files?

Please return specific instructions for these two problems.

Thanks,

jl

T: Thanks for your response. As I said I moved a number of
folders/files. The folder/files in question here (2nd paragraph
below), the ones in green, were "hidden" using Magic Folders. This is
a program that will hide folders from view until Magic Folders is
enabled w/ a password.

Re: the first problem where the drive is currupt, there was no form
of encryption ever.

I'll be glad to clarify further if necessary.

Thanks,

jl
