I need to do a clean install and format , i have the orginal XP Home sp1
cd and a sp2 cd (from microsoft) and i have a slipstreamed cd. Should i
install the XP Home sp1 then the sp2 cd , or can i do the install with the
slipstreamed cd?

You can do either. I would use the slipstreamed CD, since it's much
easier. That's what it's for.
