Classic View Control Panel Won't Stay as Default View

Just reinstalled my Vista Premium System (an HP System Recovery). I like the
Classic View of Control Panel. However, when ever I bring up Control Panel,
it always defaults to the Control Panel Home View. Why? Never had this
issue before. How do I correct it so the it will return to the Classic View
as the default? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the references Spirit. However, I don't see the relationship with
what is indicated in the referenced articles and my issue with the 'special'
Windows folder for Control Panel. The Control Panel does not live by the
same properties as other folders. When I used to select Classic View, it
would stick. Now it always comes back to the Control Panel Home screen. Am
I missing something here?

Thanks Andre. I did the registry tweak and after the first restart, all that
was shown was the Classic View Option. I was happy and thought I was set.
After that, the control panel would still come up on the category default,
but it would state that I had a permission error on the PC. I would still
have to select the classic view option like before. What is up with this?
Any further help. I never used to have this problem. Thanks again for any
assistance.
