Classic Logon Screen Saver

I would like to use the classic logon promt for my XP
Home machine. When my computer is locked the screen
saver does not engage. Am I missing something? Isn't
the screen saver supposed to start when the computer is
locked? Thanks.

Yes, but it will only engage after the timeout that is specified for the
screen saver to run, normally.
