class not registered

i recently upgraded from ME to 2000 Professional;
everything is working fine except that when i go to my
controlpanel window to try and add, or uninstall a
program, it gives me this message after i click on the
ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS icon:

"Class not registered res//spres.dlldefault.hta Line 38"

or it says: "Object required res//appwiz.cpllistbox.htc
Line: 835"

then in the window, the first section of the add/remove
programs window is blank and then the 2nd half shows all
my porgrams installed that i cannot click-on to modify.
Any advice is appreciated, thankyou

Reinstall Internet Explorer 6 SP1. Should work after that
