"Add/Remove Programs" is broken

When I launch "Add/Remove Programs"
I get an error message box
"An unexpected error occurred"
"Class not registered"

I copied appwiz.cpl from another W2000 installation - no
improvement

I assume I will need to do a re-install
BUT
My Windows 2000 Pro install (a virgin install) is only
about 2 months old - Windows has been pretty solid since
