Cisco VPN Client and XP Tablet 2005

Whenever I try to install a Cisco VPN Client (4.++) application on my Toshiba
Protégé M200 tablet PC, the system locks up during install. I have had this
problem in various forms before (i.e. the program would install but my
wireless and wired ports would "disappear." I am a consultant developing and
delivering custom training on MCMS and SPS/WSS so I need ready access to
client sites via VPN.

I have a clean install of XP Tablet for 2005 with SP2 and have the latest
Toshiba drivers, but I just can't get the Cisco VPN client to function.

Anyone have any positive experience with the VPN client and a tablet PC?
Anyone have any advice at all??

BTW, Cisco will not address the issue because I do not have a contract with
them.

I have several setups like the one you describe and have no issues with the
Cisco VPN client. What errors are you getting? Is it when you install the
Cisco Client or later - when you try to utilize it? What error messages are
in your event log?

I am looking at the specs for the client software and while I do see
Windows XP, I do not see Windows Tablet as a software approved for the
client.

I also have this software on ~ 600 users running windows xp pro.
