For some unknown reason my Nero cinema player is starting up by itself when I
first boot up the computer. I then get an error message stating that the
file I am trying to view is not in a format that is not supported. This is
very annoying and I can't figure out how to stop it! Any suggestions?

First, see if there is an option similar to "load at startup" in the
corresponding application(s). If so, uncheck the option. Secondly, you may
use the MSCONFIG.EXE utility in Windows to troubleshoot Windows startup.
