chronilogical order

J

j greenbaum

when I look at all my e mails from one sender--by clicking on sender--I want
them to appear chronilogically, so I can scan what I need to, usually within
the ten most recent. But they will only appear organized alphabetically by
subject! Who cares about alphabetical by subject! Is there a way to rearrange?

Click the column header that you wish to sort by, in your case click on
Sent.

this then arranges ALL messages chronilogically, the way we usually see them.
But it loses the grouping by sender. Do you see what I mean?

wysiwyg.

Why not create a message rule and a new folder for your correspondent, so
that only messages from that sender are in that folder?

Tools>Message Rules>Mail>New. Create the Rule and the Folder at the same
time.

You can also use the Apply Now feature to move all existing mails from the
Inbox to that folder.

I do the above for all my regular contacts, that way all their mail is in
the same place.

If you need more help with this, get back.

If you click on the From column heading, it should sort the messages by
sender, and secondarily by date within the list for a specific sender.

Hi j greenbaum and Gary,

I think that there is an option to sort by Sender and then by Chronological
Order, but it requires little more of work. Do the following steps:

In Sent Messages, click Search, select Messages, then you have to put the
address that you want to look for. So, you'll have all the messages sent for
the address displayed in chronilogical order.

Its is a bit confused, once the Windows Mail has this option to sort the
sent messages, but it isn't in easy way to do it. I don't understand why this
function is not available directly in Sent Messages.

I hope that my tip can help you.

TC!
