email addresses in alphabeticall order by last name

I imported email addresses into Windows Mail and now when I address a new
outgoing mail, all names come up in alphabetical order of first name instead
of last name. In Outlook Express they came up alphabetically by last name,
the way I want it. How do I make them come up by last name?

When the Select Recipients window is open, click on the Names heading.

It cycles thru 4 different sorts... First Name Ascending, First Name
Descending, Last Name Ascending, Last Name Descending.

Assuming you do have last names entered.
